2d Vs 3d.
The two architectural services approaches:
2D.
Our 2D plans are designed to present a clear illustration of the layout of the proposed loft conversion with construction details for builders and your local building control department. Examples of 2D drawings can be found on the ‘Gallery of Works’ Page. We offer our 2D plans to clients looking to enhance the layout and style of their homes. Plans4Lofts will always be more than happy to help with any 2D planning for loft conversions.
3D
With plans4lofts you can go much further, with our 3D service. Architects and builders look at 2D loft plans every day and in the industry we often forget that to look at 2D plans and understand them is often not easy.
The visual communication of plans through 3D visualization enables our customers to grasp the proposed loft conversion faster than through abstract drawings, lines and figures on the 2D plans. From dealing with hundreds of clients we have found that our 3D architectural design service allows for a deeper understanding on how the loft conversions will work. From positioning the new staircase to showing how much natural light will be entering into the converted space the 3D model enables true spatial representation in all its dimensions. Architects and builders look at 2D plans every day and in the industry we often forget that to look at 2D plans and understand them is often not easy.
Our 3D service in Birmingham, Solihull & Sutton Coldfield includes rendered internal and external views and also a 3D video walkthrough. These create a fantastic feeling for the space that will be created, as well as making it easier for parties involved to fully understand what the plan involves.
